It’s fair to say. 2020’s been problematic to most of the planet. And it’s not often the entire world has a bad year. However, one can find hope even when things look bleak.
Tragedy can bring about change. Whether it be loss or gain, good or bad. Right now, no one seems to have the answer. The good thing is that history usually does.
Let’s just hope this is not a harbinger of things to come. And God hasn’t decided that our time is about up. To be honest, there are some eerie similarities between this year and things in the book of Revelation.
Yet, whether it’s a turning point for change or the beginning of the end, we still must move on with life. So, let’s all leave 2020 behind and work together to build a better 2021.
Building A Better 2021
A friend told me that his motto is – Expect the worst and you’ll never be let down. I say who wants to wake up every day expecting the worst?
In my humble opinion, it would be a mistake to believe things will continue on into the new year.
2021 needs to be the year we work together and rebuild. To build a circle of friends and loved ones and get moving.
Here are a few ideas to remove the stink of 2020 and start anew.
- Start the year with a bang and a whole new look. I just shaved my head, bought new glasses, and started wearing old clothes I found in the back of my closet.
- Thoroughly clean your house. Let’s face it, now is a great time to get rid of all the junk you don’t use.
- Make a list of some things you’ve always wanted to do. Then put a plan into action.
- Do something entirely new. Join a club. Start a hobby. Try something outside yourself.
- Rebuild your family. Try complementing your loved ones regularly. Contact disenfranchised family members and reconnect.
- Make future plans with your friends. This way you have something to look forward to.
- Change your daily routine. Wake up earlier or later than usual. Try different foods or drinks. Start new exercise or activities outside your comfort zone.
- Start writing comments on message boards. Why not start by commenting below!
