Let’s say you never had pizza. One day on a trip you see pizza for the first time. You take a look and see that it’s large, flat, and round, and decide you don’t like large, flat, round things so you keep on walking. Little did you know that if you had just tasted the pizza, it would have become one of your favorite foods.
However, by rejecting it by appearance only, you would doom yourself to a life lived without enjoying the greatest “food groups” in the whole wide world.
The only thing more sad is many people go through life judging everything on outward appearance, and rejecting anything that doesn’t meet their preconceived conceptions.
Like the pizza story, we often turn down, or even miss opportunities just because we are not willing to take the risk of trying anything outside of our comfort zone. So the moral of the story is, never let your fear of large, round, flat, things get in the way of enjoying a good pizza
