December has many celebrations – Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanzaa, New Years Eve etc. It’s a time marked by the beginning of winter and the end of the year. It also happens to host one of the largest commercially celebrated holidays on the planet! And although I’m not a big fan of the commercialization of Jesus, I have put my faith in Jesus Christ and am not afraid to say Merry Christmas to everyone I meet.
However, I am also not afraid to say Hanukkah Sameach, Happy New Year or whatever other greeting the occasion merits. It seems many today have become so uptight that they are offended by a simple greeting or expression of someone’s belief.
So, regardless of the day we celebrate or our simple utterances, don’t let the politically correct inhibit you from expressing yourself and living the life you’ve always wanted.
